Welcome to the new website of Income Tax Department, Gujarat.

At the outset, I would like to express my gratitude to all the taxpayers of Gujarat for your valuable contribution which plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of the nation.

Gujarat Region which includes the state of Gujarat and the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu plays a crucial role in contribution to the direct tax collections in the country. Gujarat region has over 1.27 crore taxpayers, which is over 8% of the total taxpayers in the country. Today, Gujarat Region is the 7 th largest contributor to direct tax collections, which contribution is over 5% of the total direct tax collections of the country.

Income Tax Department Gujarat is today a dedicated team of 3,780 officers and officials. As the head of this team, I assure every taxpayer that every member of the team is committed to delivering time-bound services to taxpayers and creating an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect between the taxpayers and the Department.

Through this revamped website, we intend to improve access of information and resources to the taxpayers, the employees of the Department and all other stakeholders.
